Jump Start Weight Loss with METABO379® — 2 Comments

    • Hi Kathy! Glad you asked. Since our endocrine system has everything to do with metabolism; basically it is our metabolism. The three ingredients in Metabo379 are all organic plant life and there are no long term bad effects on the endocrine system from them. The two plant extracts—Sphaeranthus Indicus and Garcinia Mangostana— together are known as SIGMALean™. This combination of plant extracts have been used and studied in human testing for years now. The purple mangosteen, known simply as mangosteen, is a tropical evergreen tree believed to have originated in the Sunda Islands and the Moluccas of Indonesia. Garcinia mangostana Linn. (GML) belongs to the family of Guttiferae and is named “the queen of fruits”. It is cultivated in the tropical rainforest of some Southeast Asian nations like Indonesia, Malaysia, Sri Lanka, Philippines, and Thailand. People in these countries have used the pericarp (peel, rind, hull or ripe) of GML as a traditional medicine for the treatment of abdominal pain, diarrhea, dysentery, infected wound, suppuration, and chronic ulcer for hundreds of years.
The combination of the two exotic plant extracts—Sphaeranthus Indicus and Garcinia Mangostana—together known as SIGMALean™ and SIGMALean boosts your fat-burning metabolism by attacking fat cells at the cellular level. In vitro studies show that SIGMALean controls adipogenesis (creation of fat cells) and lipogenesis (storage of fat).
Information in addition to the studies above, I found information on the experimental studies and what they have shown about the Garcinia; it has demonstrated that extracts of GML have antioxidant, antitumoral, antiallergic, anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, and antiviral activities. This is information that I found at WebMD and I hope that this didn’t get too technical for what you are looking to understand but sometimes it is necessary to dig down into the actual studies of plants to understand everything that they have been tested for.
The other plant Sphaeranthus indicus is a flowering plant of the “genus Sphaeranthus”. It is distributed from Northern Australia and throughout Indomalaya. The plant has been studied for its potential health-promoting properties, primarily as an anti-inflammatory also.
Here is what I found in the journal of Medicinal Food: “The clinical effects and tolerability of a novel herbal formulation comprising the extracts of Sphaeranthus indicus and Garcinia mangostana were assessed in two similarly designed randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled, clinical trials in 100 human subjects with a body mass index (BMI) between 30 and 40 kg/m2. Participants were randomized into two groups receiving either 400 mg of herbal blend twice daily or two identical placebo capsules. All subjects received three meals (2000 kcal/day) throughout the study and walked 5 days a week for 30 min. The primary outcome was reduction in body weight. Secondary outcomes were reduction in BMI and in waist and hip circumference. Serum glycemic, lipid, and adiponectin levels were also measured. Ninety-five subjects completed the trials, and data from these two studies were pooled and analyzed. At study conclusion (8 weeks), statistically significant reductions in body weight (5.2 kg; P< .0001), BMI (2.2 kg/m2; P<.0001), as well as waist (11.9 cm; P<.0001) and hip circumferences (6.3 cm; P=.0001) were observed in the herbal group compared with placebo. An increase in serum adiponectin concentration was also found in the herbal group versus placebo (P=.0008) at study conclusion along with reductions in fasting blood glucose (12.2%, P=.01), cholesterol (13.8%, P=.002), and triglyceride (41.6%, P<.0001) concentrations. No changes were seen across organ function panels, multiple vital signs, and no major adverse events were reported. Our findings suggest that the herbal blend appears to be a well-tolerated and effective ingredient for weight management." The last of the triple ingredients in Metabo379, certified BioPerine®, is black pepper extract. Some people have an allergy to black pepper and can't use it on their food; this shows up as a rash. The extract of black pepper, BioPerine® has been and is used in many differing supplements from Green Coffee Beans to Male Enhancement supplements, sexual aids, it is pretty much always added to the Turmeric Supplements being sold on Amazon. Consequently, all three of these plant extracts are sold separately on Amazon too, but at what dosage I would have to do an additional study to see the cost comparison and dosage comparison. And as I am sure that you are already aware, Black Pepper has been used since the beginning of time; well that is "my time" but I'm sure at least for a hundred years. If you didn't know, black peppercorns are considered a fruit; something that I didn't know until today. The only adverse side effect that I could find for BioPerine®, was the rash that some people get when they use black pepper on their food. I hope that this information has helped you. I use BioTrust Metabo379 every day, before breakfast (protein shakes or oatmeal) and before dinner, which gets pretty boring at my house. Although I love to cook, I don't love to cook every night just for myself. If you want to communicate with me further, you are welcome to send me an email? renelmiller0120@hotmail.com. Have a great Monday.

I just wanted to add that my metabolism was basically shut down; all the way down. I never exercised, not since I was about 45 (59 today), I ate like a full blown sugar addict, I used to be a ferocious dieter; up and down most of my adult life, and I also had my thyroid completely removed when I was in my early 30’s to Graves Disease. I couldn’t lose weight even if I was living on oatmeal and salad with no sugar either. As a diabetic I had to lose weight because I was 80 lbs overweight. This meant that I had to get my metabolism working again. The only way that I knew how to do this would be to exercise like I was again 25 years old which in the beginning was an impossibility! Today, walking for 30 minutes, 5 days a week (sometimes 7 days a week) and eating a Ketosis type of diet (lots of protein, elevated good fats, no or very low carbs mostly from vegetables and fruits; I follow the Atkins Diet) I am half way to my weight loss goals and I pray every day that the needle on my scales keeps moving lower because that is how desperate I have been with my weight loss. So if you are having a difficult time, I do understand completely and I am willing to help with whatever needs you might have.
